          38th Annual Salmon Festival Tournament       

The tournament is open to both U11 and U9 Teams

All U11 teams are guaranteed 4 games during the tournament.

Games will 1.25 hours each,

traveling teams will play on Friday-Sunday Games during the week may start as early as 5pm

(there will be no games during school hours)

 

All U9 teams are guaranteed 6 games during the tournament.

Games will be played 3 on 3 for the entire tournament with two games happening at one time.

Each game will be 1 hour in length,

traveling teams will play on Friday-Sunday 

local teams possibly playing on Thursday games on

Thursday and Friday may start as early at 5pm

(there are no games during school hours)

This is a jamboree style with no finals

 

 

 Salmon Festival Tournament Registration and Payment

 

U11 Specific Rules


Point scoring for U11 games are as follows:
? 2 points for a win
? 1 point for a tie, and
? 0.5 points for a shutout.


The duration of round robin games shall be three 18-minute straight time periods, with intermission of 3 minutes between periods,
each period shall start with a face-off. The last 2 minutes of the third period will be stop time if goal spread of 3 or less goals.
Tie breaker formula following the U11 round robin will be as follows:

  • Most Wins
    Fewest Losses
    Head to Head
    Least Penalty Minutes
    Least Goal Against
    Most Goals For

 
The semi-finals shall be three 18-minute straight time periods, with intermission of 3 minutes between periods, each period shall
start with a face-off. The last 2 minutes of the third period will be stop time if goal spread of 3 or less goals.


The finals shall be three 20-minute straight time periods, with intermission of 5 minutes between periods, each period shall start
with a face-off. Intermission may be shortened to 3 minutes if necessary to keep games on time. The last 5 minutes of the third
period will be stop time.


In the event of a tie there will be a 5 minute stop time sudden death overtime followed by a shootout if necessary.
In the event of a shootout, a five player round will occur. The team with the most goals after this shootout round will be the
winner of the game. If after this round, a winner is not declared, a sudden death shoot out will occur with an additional
shooters from each team shooting in one player rounds will continue until a winner is declared. EACH player can only shoot
once until the entire roster has shot, with the exception of the goalies.
