All games to be refereed in accordance with BCLA and Lacrosse Canada rules and regulations. Referees calls on the floor are final. There are no protests allowed or accepted.
All players must be properly registered and in good standing with BCLA or their local Provincial Body
Team officials must report to “Check in†at no more than 45 minutes and no less than 20 minutes prior to game time and are responsible for verifying the game sheet before each game. Dressing rooms will be pre-assigned and available 30 minutes before each game. Game sheets will be prepared in advance and will be held at “check in†for verification prior to the start of each game. Game balls will be supplied, as well as timekeepers and shot clock personnel, home teams may be asked to supply score keepers if a tournament volunteer is not available
The tournament committee reserves the right to remove from the tournament any player, coach or spectator who behaves in a manner considered inappropriate for a minor sporting event. Abuse of officials and tournament volunteers both on and off the floor will not be tolerated and offending person will be removed. Tournament committee decisions are final.
U11 Specific Rules
Point scoring for U11 games:
2 points for a win
1 point for a tie, and
0.5 points for a shutout.
Round robin games will be 1 hour and 15 minutes which includes a 3-minute warm-up. Period 1 and 2 will be 18-minute running time, Period 3 will be 18 minutes running time with stop time in the last three(3) minutes unless the score spread is 6 goals or more
Breaks between period will be 3 minutes, which may be shortened to 2 minutes if necessary to keep the games on time (the final period may be shortened if necessary to keep games on time
Tie breaker formula following the U11 round robin will be as follows:

Fewest Losses
Head to Head (if applicable)
Least Goals Against
Least Penalty minutes
Most Period Won
Playoff games will be 3 - 20minutes running time periods with stop time in the last 5 minutes of the game regardless of the score, breaks and warm-up as outlined for round robin play. In the event of a tie there will be a 10-minute stop time sudden death overtime followed by a shootout if necessary. In the event of a shootout, a five-player round will occur the team with the most goals after the round of shootout will be the winner. If after this round a winner is not declared a sudden death shoot out will occur with an additional two shooters and will continue until a winner is declared. EACH player can only shoot once until the entire roster has shot, with the exception of the goalies.
U9 Specific Rules
Games are to be played wide length in one of the attacking zones half floors. The end boards and the closest restraining line are to be the boundaries - there will be two games played simultaneously
The neutral zones will be where the player temporary benches will be set up
Games will be played with 3 players on the floor and a goalie
Penalties will be called - player will be removed for two minutes - teams will not play short
Game duration will be 3-14 minute periods -3 minute warm-up and 2 minute break between period there will be no stop time as the teams will be playing simultaneously - players will change on the fly for the games
Scoresheet will record goals and penalties but will not be displayed on the score clock
