To ensure the continued success of RLA programs, all RLA families are required to complete association volunteer commitments each season. Volunteer support helps operate the association, run RLA-hosted tournaments, and assist with team and divisional needs.
The RLA Board may update this policy, volunteer requirements, or deposits based on the needs of each season.
Volunteer deposits help fund program operations and, when necessary, pay for staffing support to cover unfilled volunteer shifts. Any remaining funds are reinvested directly into RLA programming.
| Program | Volunteer Requirement (per player) | Volunteer Deposit |
|---|---|---|
| 2025 Box Season | 1 full-time position or 8 association volunteer hours | $100 |
| 2025 Field Season | 1 full-time position or 8 association volunteer hours | $100 |
Note: These are minimum requirements. Families are always welcome to contribute more! 🙂
